Optimizing Workflow

Automating Risk Management

Pundit is an AI-powered project assistant optimizing workflow by minimizing risk. Our platform analyzes then catalogs project documents to make informed suggestions for your team, ultimately avoiding wasted time, spent resources, and lost capital.

Pundit expedites the time spent reviewing contract documents, budgets, schedules, and email exchanges so that your team can focus their efforts on completing projects effectively, securing new work, and keeping customers satisfied.

Experience

With nearly two decades experience across architecture, estimating, and project management we understand how details can get lost in translation, leading to mismanaged expectations and frustration.

Mission

Our mission is to automate your risk management with the goal of reducing labor burn and avoiding cost exposure. We do that by using past and present data from your project files to send reports to your team members, suggesting how they should respond to a project related issue.

Our recommendations are objective, calculated, and well-informed. And since they use your own project information as source material, the suggestions are tailored to your project and comply with your brand standards.

EXAMPLES

01

Issue: Floor plan and interior elevation show conflicting design information.
We know that project issues are nuanced. They can be political and many layers deep. Below are some examples of project issues and how Pundit would support in finding the best solution for the situation.

Pundit's Actions:

- Compare/ contrast drawings.

- Cross reference specifications, RFIs, and Submittals.

- Determine that a clarifying question to designers is needed.

- Pundit's report to project team includes: 1.) Drafted question to designer with drawing references, 2.) Recommendation to tell field supervisor to wait on installation, 3.) Notice of how many days before this decision is needed to maintain the project timeline.

- Pundit's report to project team includes: 1.) Synopsis with dates of when the scope was in budget and when it was removed, 2.) Recommendation on alternate design solutions to save cost and avoid delays, 3.) Suggestion to reach out to cabinetry installer to ask for current cost and fabrication durations, 4.) Notice of how many days before this decision is needed to maintain the project timeline.

- Determine that the scope was in the original budgets and removed by customer during cost savings meetings.

- Compare/ contrast all previous budgets against the final schedule of values.

Pundit's Actions:

Issue: Cabinetry expected by the Customer is 'missing' from the project.

Issue: Customer expects server room to be monitored, but Landlord won't accommodate

Pundit's Actions:

- Use database to compare all projects previously completed in the building.

- Analyze landlord's review and comment to the current project's design.

- Determine that landlord's system has never allowed the integration and monitoring of customer's server room air conditioning.

- Pundit's report to project team includes: 1.) Confirmation that landlord's design review didn't address this issue and their building standards do not confirm/ deny, 2.) Synopsis of past projects in the building that've had the same issue, 3.) Itemized list of similar products on the market that could meet customer's functional needs, 4.) Suggestion to reach out to AC controls vendor to ask for current cost and installation durations, 5.) Notice of how many days before this decision is needed to maintain the project timeline.

Step 1: We build an encyclopedia from your past project files. This is the database our machine learning software uses to ensure we're following your company standards and brand guidelines.

Step 2: We catalog your active project files. Drawings, contracts, material specifications, email exchanges; all documents are uploaded for use in making current project recommendations.

This is how we avoid 90% of the potential risks before the project ever starts, by finding current project contradictions and contrasting the active project against lessons learned during past projects.

Step 3: Once you're established in the Pundit system, your team members can prompt our AI platform for suggestions, recommendations, and information to minimize their time manually mitigating risks from any active project issues that come up.
